Maxim Samsonov received MS degree in Applied Mathematics with minor in Computer Science from St. Petersburg State Technical University, Russia in 1991. He was faculty member and assistant professor there in 1991 – 1994 participating in research and industry projects related to distributed databases, fault-tolerant systems, expert systems and 3D real-time graphics. In 1994-1999 Samsonov worked for Typhoon Software Inc. as Lead Engineer, Project Manager, Director of Engineering and as a senior member of the management staff. He was co-architect of Harris’ Enhanced Services Platform and directed a large number of Russian programmers in developing many of its innovative and patented sub-systems. In 1999 Samsonov co-founded Snippity.com, Inc. and served as its CTO.
Maxim Samsonov was appointed Peter-Service Deputy General Manager (COO) in 2003 and today is responsible for R&D, professional services, deployment and customer support.
Maxim is a member of IEEE Computer Society and St. Petersburg Engineering Research Academy.
